SENSEI RODD 

Rodd is our Head coach. He's been active in Judo for almost 50 years. He's coached at and ran several clubs over the years, all very successful and has been lucky enough to produce many champions. He is fully qualified coach, with first aid, safeguarding and coaching children qualifications.

SENSEI KAZ 

Karen, helps run the club along side Rodd and their son Ben. She is a former BJA and BJC National Champion as well as a very successful International Judoka. She has been involved in judo for almost 40 years. Fully qualified level 2 BJC coach, Paediatric first aid and safeguarding trained, with many years teaching judo to children and adults.

SENSEI BEN 

Ben is 20, and is an active Judoka within the BJA and BJC, with many rewards to his name, both National and International. He is a BJC level 2 and BJA level 1 coach and a CrossFit trainer level 1, which he loves' and helps him and others with their Judo career, strength and fitness. He is fantastic with children and Adults alike, and helps coach to a high standard. He is also currently No.1 GB U60kg.

SENSEI JON 

Jon has recently joined our team of coaching staff, after successfully completing his level 1 fundamental Principles of judo course, along side a first aid and safeguarding qualification. Jon is fantastic with the children and helps each adult he trains with feel valued. A great asset to the club.

SENSEI JAKE 

Jake age 18, has recently completed his BJC FPJ level 1 Coaching award. Jake is a great asset to the club, helping others week in week out while improving his own judo. He is fully insured, DBS checked, first aid and safeguarding trained. Nice to have a young judoka taking a step towards coaching.

Jason , Coaching Assistant

Jason has recently completed his coaching assistant award with us. A great asset to the club, which is growing weekly. Jason is brilliant with all ages, and is very keen to keep learning and improving within a coaching role and his own judo. 

Phoebe, coaching Assistant

Phoebe loves nothing more than helping the little ones achieve their goals. She is a mature young lady with lots of potential, and thrives to be a coach in her own right one day, with an ambition of becoming a teacher too. She's learning more and more each week, and will be a great addition to the coaching team at the club.
